Awareness Month


September is National Newborn Screening Awareness month! It is a great opportunity to learn more about newborn screening and its impact on Kansas families, to raise extra awareness about this essential public health program, and to look at how your organization can help families be more prepared to expect newborn screening and to follow up on their baby's screening results.

This action alert includes national and Kansas newborn screening statistics, suggested actions that providers can take, resources for providers and families, and suggested social media images and messages.
