The Customer Service section of the Kansas Health and Environmental Laboratories was established in September 2001. Customer Service was then relocated in August 2002 due to facility renovations. The staff of the Customer Service section is dedicated to serving our customer needs in the most efficient way possible.

Customer Service is responsible for the following operations:

  • Ensuring quality customer satisfaction
  • Shipping sample/specimen collection kits
  • Receiving and scanning in sample/specimen
  • Demographic data entry and reporting
  • Storeroom management and inventory of laboratory supplies
  • IT systems development and maintenance
  • Custodian of all official laboratory records
