Notes: Years of potential life lost (YPLL) is a measure of premature mortality, calculating the years lost before age 65. YPLL is calculated by first subtracting each deceased person's age at death from 65. Then it adds these "years lost" for all deceased people to come up with a total.

YPLL = 65 - Age at time of death for all deaths under 65 years of age
