New ID requirements: Due to the rise in identity theft and other fraudulent use of vital records, the credit card you are using to place the order must be in your name. The cardholder's name and address will be verified. You will also be asked to provide your social security or driver's license number.

Credit card internet requests are processed within three business days after the first business day our office receives the request.

The only means available for making an internet request is by accessing the web site of VitalChek, the company with which our office contracts to provide credit card service. Click here to access VitalChek's web site (www.vitalchek.com). A U. S. map will be displayed. Click on the state of Kansas.

There is an additional $9.00 expedited service fee for credit card requests which is charged by VitalChek.
