Fees Regarding Amending Vital Records

BIRTH CERTIFICATES

The fee to amend a birth certificate is $15.00. This does not include the charge for a certified copy.

DEATH CERTIFICATES

There is no charge to amend a death certificate if the amendment is made within the first three months after filing the original death certificate in our office.

The fee to amend a death certificate after the three month cut off is $15.00 unless the requested amendment is to change the medical certification data. In this case, there is no charge. This does not include the charge for a certified copy.

MARRIAGE CERTIFICATES

The fee to amend a marriage certificate is $15.00. This does not include the charge for a certified copy.

DIVORCE CERTIFICATES

The fee to amend a divorce certificate is $15.00. This does not include the charge for a certified copy.

DELAYED BIRTH CERTIFICATES

The fee to file a delayed birth certificate for any age individual is $20.00. This does not include the charge for a certified copy.

FOREIGN BORN CERTIFICATES

The fee to file a foreign born certificate for any age individual is $15.00. This does not include the charge for a certified copy.

CERTIFIED COPIES OF VITAL RECORDS

The fee to obtain a certified copy of a birth, delayed birth, foreign born , fetal death, marriage or divorce certificate is $15.00 for the first copy and $15.00 for each additional copy of the same record ordered at the same time.

The fee to obtain a certified copy of a death certificate is $15.00 for the first copy and $15.00 for each additional copy of the same record ordered at the same time.
