KDHE SVPE Program Overview
The KDHE SVPE Program funds local community agencies to design, implement and evaluate sexual violence primary prevention community change strategies such as community mobilization, environmental, policy and social norms change strategies. Funded agencies have active community-based coalitions guiding their work, complete a community needs assessment every five years that takes a shared risk and protective factor approach and develop an action plan based on the results of their needs assessment.
