Public Health Connections Newsletter

Public Health Connections (PHC) is published monthly by the Local Health Section of the Bureau of Community Health Systems, Kansas Department of Health & Environment. The publication is distributed to all county health departments, school nurses, state health and community public health workforce who request the E–newsletter. The Local Health Section team encourages article submissions from the readers of Public Health Connections. To assist you in the writing process we have included a link to Helpful Hints for Drafting a News Article. The writing hints can also be used when creating submissions for local newspapers or other publications.

Articles, advertisements and/or upcoming training news can be submitted to pbehenke@kdheks.gov or dnickels@kdheks.gov by the 20th of the current month for next month’s edition of Public Health Connections.
