The Kansas Mission of Mercy (KMOM) project is an oral health initiative where volunteer dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and community volunteers provide free dental care to the public.

"I am over 21, have dental problems and can't afford dental care. How do I get help?"

  • Contact the Community Health Center in your area. If you need more information to find one with dental services, call the Kansas Association of the Medically Underserved at 785-233-8483 or http://www.kspca.org/.
  • Contact the Kansas Dental Association at 785-272-7360 or http://www.ksdental.org/ for a referral to a dentist in your area.
  • If you live in the Kansas City area, you may want to consider the University of Missouri at Kansas City, School of Dentistry. To find out more about how to become a patient and schedule an appointment call 816/235-2111 or visit http://dentistry.umkc.edu/bec_patient/becomingpatient.htm
