This project is partially funding the annual Topeka Water Festival.
This festival will host 800 kids and teach them about water quality, pollutant
concerns, potential sources of water pollutants, water conservation and
pollution prevention. |

| Nonpoint Source Education for Fourth Level Year 1 - 3 |
The grant would be used to fund the NPS Education for 4th Level ""Wild
World of Waste and Water"" project. The project will focus primarily on
information and education of Topeka area 4th grade elementary students
on water-related issues such as pesticide and herbicide runoff, disposal
of hazardous waste, and littering. |
