| Deep Placement Fertilizer Demonstration |
This project will facilitate the lease/purchase of fertilizer deep
placement equipment with the goal of demonstration and farmer adoption.
Mamaton and Little Osage River watersheds will be the focus. Fertilizer
deep placement and Nutrient management planning should reduce nutrient
enriched runoff from cropland. A measure of success will be how many farmers
adopt deep placement of fertilizers and nutrient management planning. The
BCCD will also administer a KDHE prepared survey, at KDHE's request. |
