The goals of this project were to address an illegal dumpsite next
to a stream. Project objectives included: 1. Conduct site analysis to determine
nature and extent of dump materials; 2. Determine cost to remove materials
3. Coordinate with local officials to conduct cleanup; 4. Conduct site
cleanup.
El Dorado Lake Water Quality Protection, Part 1 and 2
This was the next phase of the effort to raise awareness of water quality
protection needs and measures applicable to the watershed and Eldorado
Lake. This included producing the Upper Walnut Watershed Protection Handbook,
a video about the project, composting brochure, a small business water
quality protection brochure, continue the water festival and at least one
watershed protection workshop.
