TOPEKA, Kan.— Governor Sam Brownback will be joined by Kansas Health and Environment Secretary Robert Moser, M.D., and Kansas State University Engineering Extension Director Bruce Snead to announce a new initiative for Kansas Radon Action Month.
The announcement will take place at 1:30 p.m. in the Governor’s Ceremonial Office in the State Capitol Building in Topeka. Following the announcement, there will be a proclamation signing to declare January as Kansas Radon Action Month. There will be an opportunity to view a home radon test kit and a demonstration by KDHE Bureau of Environmental Health.
