Boil Water Advisory Rescinded for Jefferson Co. RWD No. 10 (Lakeshore Estates)

TOPEKA, Kan. - The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has been notified that the boil water advisory for Jefferson County Rural Water District (RWD) No. 10 (Lakeshore Estates) has been rescinded. Jefferson Co. RWD No. 10 issued the advisory on Nov. 5 because of a loss of pressure in the water system due to a water main break.

Laboratory testing on samples collected indicate no evidence of contamination, and all other conditions that place the system at risk of contamination are deemed by KDHE officials to be resolved.
