Boil Water Advisory Rescinded for City of Hoyt in Jackson Co.

TOPEKA, Kan. - The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has rescinded the boil water advisory for the City of Hoyt in Jackson County.

The boil water advisory was issued on Aug. 21 because of a loss of pressure in the water system due to a storage tank drawdown. Laboratory testing on samples collected indicate no evidence of contamination, and all other conditions that placed the system at risk of contamination are deemed by KDHE officials to be resolved.
