Boil Water Advisory Rescinded for Lyon Co. Rural Water District No. 4

TOPEKA, Kan. - The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has rescinded the boil water advisory for Rural Water District (RWD) No. 4, including Neosho Rapids, located in Lyon County.

The boil water advisory was issued on Aug. 13  because of a loss of pressure in the water system due to a water main break. Laboratory testing on samples collected on Aug. 16 indicate no evidence of contamination, and all other conditions that placed the system at risk of contamination are deemed by KDHE officials to be resolved
