TOPEKA, Kan.—The Kansas Department of Health and Environment and the March of Dimes Greater Kansas Chapter are scheduled to announce an initiative supporting the health of Kansas babies on Friday, March 8, at 10 a.m. in the 2nd floor Rotunda of the Statehouse.
KDHE Secretary Robert Moser, M.D., and March of Dimes State Program & Government Affairs Director Diane Daldrup will discuss new initiatives to reduce premature birth and infant mortality in Kansas. Joining them will be Topeka pediatrician Dennis Cooley, M.D., chair of the Kansas Blue Ribbon Panel on Infant Mortality.
