Topeka – The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) reminds Kansans that the holidays are no time to neglect good environmental habits we practice year around, and an environmentally friendly holiday can be just as festive without much extra effort.
“The holidays are a go-go-go time of year, which means we can sometimes we forget to think about the environment when shopping or gathering with friends and family,” said John Mitchell, Director of KDHE’s Division of Environment. “With a little creative thinking and some healthy changes of habit, you and your family can go green this holiday season and keep those habits throughout the New Year.”
