KDHE To Host Live Twitter Chat on Flu Prevention Tuesday, Dec. 6

Flu experts will answer questions, Tweet prevention tips

Topeka—We’re chatting about the Flu; are you? The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) will host another live Twitter chat on Tuesday, Dec. 6 from 3 to 4 p.m. This will be KDHE’s second live Twitter chat centered on Influenza; the first one was held September 30.

By logging onto www.twitter.com, following @KDHE and using the hashtag #KSflu, Kansans can ask questions about Flu vaccines, prevention methods and symptoms.

“I encourage all Kansans to take the necessary precautions to limit the spread of influenza,” explained Robert Moser, M.D., KDHE Secretary and State Health Officer. “Reducing and eliminating the spread of infectious diseases is a year-round concern. Keeping Kansans informed through all channels of communication is key during flu season, and I hope Kansans are able to participate in this live Twitter chat.”
If you’re not on Twitter, here's how to get started:
