KDHE To Host Live Twitter Chat on Flu Prevention Friday, September 30

Flu experts will answer questions and offer tips for the upcoming flu season

Topeka—The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) is gearing up for the upcoming flu season by hosting a live chat on Twitter on Friday, Sept. 30 from 2 to 3 p.m. By logging onto www.twitter.com, following @KDHE and using the hashtag #KSflu, Kansans can ask questions about Flu vaccines, prevention methods and symptoms.

“Fall is here, school is back in session, and once again it’s time to prepare for flu season,” explained KDHE Secretary Robert Moser, MD. “Flu season peaks in the fall and winter, however reducing and eliminating the spread of infectious diseases is a year-round concern. Keeping Kansans informed through all channels of communication is key during flu season, and I hope Kansans are able to participate in the live Twitter chat.”
If you’re not on Twitter, here's how to get started.
