Request for Proposals for Watershed Restoration and Protection Strategy Projects

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment, Watershed Management Section, will be accepting proposals for Kansas Watershed Restoration and Protection Strategy projects and services for State Fiscal Year 2012. The application period for project proposals will be January 10– February 28.  Please visit to apply.

The Watershed Restoration and Protection Strategy (WRAPS) program engages local stakeholders in a process to identify watershed restoration and protection needs, establish watershed goals, create a cost effective watershed plan to achieve the goals, and implement the watershed plan.  The WRAPS process includes the following phases; Development, Assessment and Planning, and Implementation.
