Boil Water Advisory Rescinded for Cities of Horton, Willis

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has rescinded the boil water advisory for the City of Willis and portions of the City of Horton, which are located in Brown County.

KDHE issued the advisory on December 9 due to a loss of pressure to the water distribution system. Laboratory testing on samples collected indicate no evidence of contamination, and all other conditions that place the system at risk of contamination are deemed by KDHE officials to be resolved.
