Boil Water Advisory Rescinded for City of Sedan

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has rescinded the boil water advisory for the City of Sedan, which is located in Chautauqua County.

KDHE issued the advisory on October 1 due to a break in the water main which resulted in a loss of pressure to the water distribution system. Laboratory testing on samples collected indicate no evidence of contamination, and all other conditions that place the system at risk of contamination are deemed by KDHE officials to be resolved.
