Boil Water Advisory Rescinded for City of Damar

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has rescinded the boil water advisory for the City of Damar, which is located in Rooks County.

KDHE issued the advisory on August 17 due to a line break that resulted in in a loss of pressure to the water distribution system. Laboratory testing on samples collected indicate no evidence of contamination, and all other conditions that place the system at risk of contamination are deemed by KDHE officials to be resolved.
