Boil Water Advisory Rescinded for City of Minneapolis

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has rescinded the boil water advisory for the city of Minneapolis, which is located in Ottawa County.

KDHE issued the advisory on July 15 due to a break in the water main that resulted in a loss of pressure to the water distribution system. Laboratory testing on samples collected in Minneapolis indicates no evidence of contamination, and all other conditions that place the system at risk of contamination are deemed by KDHE officials to be resolved.
