Boil Water Advisory Rescinded for City of Roseland

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has rescinded a boil water advisory for the city of Roseland, which is located in Cherokee County.

KDHE issued the advisory on May 3 for the cities of Roseland and Scammon due to a break in the water main that resulted in a loss of pressure to the water distribution system. Laboratory testing on samples collected indicates no evidence of contamination, and all other conditions that place the system at risk of contamination are deemed by KDHE officials to be resolved.

The boil water advisory for the city of Scammon was rescinded May 5.
