Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) Secretary Roderick Bremby will recognize ServiceMaster by Best Corporation for its environmental accomplishments at a news conference on Thursday, January 14 at 10 a.m. at 10500 E. Berkeley Square in Wichita. David Lazarus, ServiceMaster by Best President, will be in attendance. All media are invited to attend.
ServiceMaster by Best, Wichita, recently became the first Kansas company to receive the Environmental Standard for Commercial and Institutional Cleaning Services, or GS-42, certification from Green Seal – a non-profit, U.S.-based eco-labeling organization.
GS-42 certification from Green Seal is an important accomplishment, not only to KDHE, but to Kansans, as it shows that a service is using products and equipment that have less impact on the environment as well as has adopted processes and procedures that help protect the health of workers as well as building occupants.
