Boil Water Advisory Rescinded for City of Canton

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has rescinded a boil water advisory for the city of Canton, which is located in McPherson County.

KDHE issued the advisory on January 11 due to a break in the water main that resulted in a loss of pressure to the water distribution system. Laboratory testing indicates no evidence of contamination, and all other conditions that place the system at risk of contamination are deemed by KDHE officials to be resolved.
