Boil Water Advisory Rescinded for Jefferson County RWD 10

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has rescinded a boil water advisory for the Jefferson County Rural Water District (RWD) 10, which is located on the north east side of Perry Lake in Jefferson County.

KDHE issued the advisory on December 18 due to a break in the water main that resulted in a loss of pressure to the water distribution system. Laboratory testing indicates no evidence of contamination, and all other conditions that place the system at risk of contamination are deemed by KDHE officials to be resolved.
