Boil Water Advisory Rescinded for Cherokee Co. RWD #3 East of U.S. 69

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has rescinded the boil water advisory for customers of Cherokee County Rural Water District (RWD) #3 residing east of U.S. 69.

KDHE issued the advisory on November 5 due to a line break that resulted in a loss of pressure to the water distribution system. Laboratory testing indicates no evidence of contamination, and all other conditions that place the system at risk of contamination are deemed by KDHE officials to be resolved.
