Boil Water Advisory Rescinded for City of Nortonville

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has rescinded the boil water advisory for the city of Nortonville (located in northern Jefferson County).

KDHE issued the advisory on December 16 due to a loss of pressure in the water distribution system resulting from the recent ice storms. Laboratory testing indicates no evidence of contamination, and all other conditions that place the system at risk of contamination are deemed by KDHE officials to be resolved.
