Boil Water Advisory Rescinded for City of Weir

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has rescinded the boil water advisory for the City of Weir in northeast Cherokee County.

KDHE issued the advisory on November 28 due to scheduled maintenance of the city water system. Laboratory testing indicates no evidence of contamination, and all other conditions that place the system at risk of contamination are deemed by KDHE officials to be resolved.

Customers with questions may contact the city at (620) 396-8214.
