Boil Water Advisory Issued for Some Customers of Linn County RWD #2

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has issued a boil water advisory for customers of Linn County Rural Water District (RWD) #2 residing east of state Highway K7 and west of U.S. Highway 69, between 1500 Road and state Highway K52.

KDHE issued the advisory after a tower was drained, and the area lost pressure to the system. Pressure has since been restored, but the advisory will remain in effect until testing of samples indicates no evidence of contamination.

Customers in the designated area should boil water used for cooking or drinking and observe the following precautions until further notice:
