Boil Water Order for the City of Easton Rescinded

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has rescinded the boil water advisory for the city of Easton in Leavenworth County.

The advisory was issued on September 27 after total coliform bacteria was found in numerous water samples taken from the public water system. Subsequent laboratory testing indicates no evidence of contamination, and all other conditions that place the systems at risk of contamination are deemed by KDHE officials to be resolved.
