MEDIA ADVISORY: Public Meeting Scheduled at Field Kindley High School in Coffeyville, 7-9 p.m., July 10

Local and State Officials to Discuss Safely Re-Entering Flood-Damaged Homes

A public meeting to discuss health and safety information for residents who will be returning to their homes in Coffeyville following the Southeast Kansas floods has been scheduled in the gymnasium at Field Kindley High School, 1100 W. 8th St., Coffeyville, 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 10. The discussions will focus upon how to safely re-enter flood-damaged structures to recover valuables and other possessions.

Representatives of several local, state and federal agencies involved in responding to the floods will present health and safety information for residents. Informational booths on specific topics will also be set up in the gymnasium to provide information on specific public health and environmental topics.
