KDHE Issues Administrative Order to Mobile Home Park in Hays

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has issued an Administrative Order to Country View Mobile Home Park located in Hays, Kansas for violating state statutes and regulations pertaining to public water supply systems.

The Country View Mobile Home Park has failed to:

  • obtain the service of a KDHE-certified operator to operate, maintain, and supervise the public water supply system,
  • develop and implement a program that checks for plumbing problems which would allow contamination of drinking water,
  • determine and record daily chlorine residuals throughout the distribution system, and
  • develop a written plan for the collection and submission of samples for bacteriological analysis.

The Order contains a Compliance Schedule requiring the System to contract the services of a KDHE-certified operator to operate, maintain, and supervise the System's public water supply system.

A penalty will be assessed if the water system does not comply with the Compliance Schedule contained in the Order.
