State Issues Emergency Suspension of Child Care Provider Licenses
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) issued an Emergency Order of Suspension of the following childcare provider licenses:
- Sept. 13 - Tracy A. Jones, 26608 W. 337 th Terrace, Paola - Group Day Care Home
- Sept. 14 - Rosalie Jean Bean, 104 Kansas Avenue, Hutchinson - Home Day Care
- Sept. 15 - Kimberly Kristine Taylor, 1319 E. 21 st St., Hays - Family Day Care Home
- Sept. 17 - Amy E. McClure, 11601 West 69 th Terrace, Shawnee - Family Day Care Home
State law allows the Secretary of KDHE to issue such an order when, in the opinion of the Secretary, the order is necessary to protect children in the home from any potential threat to health or safety.
The order is subject to appeal to the Secretary of Health and Environment.
