KDHE invites Kansas State Fair Visitors to enter the
“Great Hunt for your Health and Environment”
Visitors to the Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson this year can have fun, win prizes and learn
important information by entering “The Great Hunt for your Health and Environment.”
The Great Hunt is a scavenger hunt that will take participants to all corners of the state fairgrounds
for displays on recycled products and healthy habits.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment is sponsoring the Great Hunt for your Health
and Environment at the Kansas State Fair beginning Friday, September 5. Participants who
correctly identify all the Great Hunt stops on their entry form will receive a Kansas Don’t
Spoil It! canvas tote bag or similar prize and will be eligible for the grand prize drawing. The
grand prize is a molded picnic bench made from recycled plastic and tire rubber from Champlin
Tire Recycling of Concordia with runner up prizes of recycled tire flower pots from Total Recyclers
of Victoria.
Entry forms may be picked up and turned in at the KDHE/Kansas Don't Spoil It! booth #131
in the Meadowlark Building on the State Fairgrounds. All correct entries turned in by 12:00 noon
on Sunday, September 14 will be eligible for the prize drawing. Contestants do not need
to be present to win.
