The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has lifted the boil water advisory for the City of Elgin. Tests conducted by KDHE indicate no evidence of contamination; therefore, it is no longer necessary to boil the water.
The boil water advisory was issued Thursday, October 17th, after KDHE learned of an equipment failure sometime prior to Monday, October 14th. The equipment was repaired Thursday morning, October 17th.
