The Kansas Department of Health and Environment's Office of Vital Statistics has moved to a new location. The office is now located in the new state office building, currently known as the Signature Building, at 1000 SW Jackson St., Suite 120, Topeka, KS 66612-2221. The Office of Vital Statistics fulfills requests for certified copies of Kansas birth, death, marriage and divorce certificates.
Walk-in customer service continues to be available from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. weekdays, excluding holidays. Customers may use the building's main entrance, or enter doors on the building's east side on Kansas Avenue, which affords direct access into the Office of Vital Statistics Customer Service Lobby.
