State Lifts Admissions Prohibition at Cherry Creek Village Retirement Center
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has issued an order lifting a prohibition on new admissions to Cherry Creek Village Retirement Center, 8200 E. Pawnee, Wichita. A follow-up inspection has shown that previously documented deficiencies at the facility have been corrected.
Those deficiencies had significantly and adversely impacted the health, safety, nutrition, or sanitation at the facility. The lifting of the prohibition enables the facility to accept new residents.
