Fairfield Inn Fined
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has issued an administrative order assessing a $2,500 fine against Fairfield Inn, 2930 Eagle Crest Drive, Emporia, for operating a lodging establishment without a license.
The violation has been documented by a lodging inspector.
State law allows the Director of the KDHE Division of Health to issue fines for violations of state regulations adopted pursuant to the Kansas Food Service and Lodging Act.
The order is subject to appeal to the Secretary of Health and Environment.
