FREE - Food Safety Courses Offered Locally, April 14
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment is teaming-up with local health professionals to offer food safety classes April 14, 1999 in Dighton. The training is offered free of charge and will focus on ways to prepare, serve and store safe and healthy meals. Employees of restaurants, child care facilities, hospitals, nursing homes, or anyone who is considering employment in the food service industry is encouraged to attend.
The food safety training classes will be conducted in the Lane County 4-H Building on April 14, 1999. Attendees may choose a 2:30-4:00 p.m. session or a 6:30-8:00 p.m. session. The classes are presented by KDHE, and the Walnut Creek Extension Service.
