FREE - Food Safety Courses Offered Locally, April 13
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment is teaming-up with local health professionals to offer food safety classes April 13, 1999 in Ness City. The training is offered free of charge and will focus on ways to prepare, serve and store safe and healthy meals. Employees of restaurants, child care facilities, hospitals, nursing homes, or anyone who is considering employment in the food service industry is encouraged to attend.
The food safety training classes will be conducted in the Ness County 4-H Building on April 13, 1999. Attendees may choose a 2:30-4:00 p.m. session or a 6:30-8:00 p.m. session. The classes are presented by KDHE, the Walnut Creek Extension Service, and the Ness County Health Department.
