FREE - Food Safety Courses Offered Locally, April 5
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment is teaming-up with local health professionals to offer food safety classes April 5, 1999 in Jetmore. The training is offered free of charge and will focus on ways to prepare, serve and store safe and healthy meals. Employees of restaurants, child care facilities, hospitals, nursing homes, or anyone who is considering employment in the food service industry is encouraged to attend.
The food safety training classes will be conducted in the Hodgeman County 4-H Building April 5, 1999. Attendees may choose a 2:30-4:00 p.m. session or a 6:30-8:00 p.m. session. The classes are presented by KDHE, the Hodgeman County Health Department, and the Hodgeman County Extension Service.
