Kenwood View Nursing Home Fined $5,100
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has issued an order assessing a $5,100 civil penalty against Kenwood View Nursing Home, 900 Elmhurst Blvd., Salina, for violating state nursing home regulations.KDHE staff inspected the facility on November 3, 4, 5 and 6 and determined that the facility failed to meet standards for quality of care. The department determined the violation resulted in, caused, or posed serious physical harm to a resident. State law authorizes KDHE to issue civil penalties following an inspection under those circumstances.
The order is subject to appeal to the Secretary of Health and Environment.
