State Bans Bethphage at Ellsworth, from Admitting New Residents
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has issued an order banning new admissions to Bethphage at Ellsworth, 102 E. Second St., Ellsworth, after an inspection revealed deficiencies that significantly and adversely impact the health, safety, nutrition, or sanitation at the facility.
The ban, issued shortly after an inspection, prohibits the facility from accepting new residents until the deficiencies are corrected. Once staff document the deficiencies are corrected, KDHE will lift the ban. In some instances, that may occur within days.
