O.K. Corral Fined $13,000 for Water Quality Violations
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has issued an administrative order assessing a $13,000 civil penalty against O.K. Corral, McPherson, for violating state water quality regulations.The KDHE order also requires O.K. Corral to take steps to correct violations at the McPherson facility and to submit a completed waste permit application and waste management plan to the department.
The order is subject to appeal to the Secretary of Health and Environment.
