Kansas Women's Health Initiative Workshops

The Kansas Women's Health Initiative will be conducting two workshops for individuals and groups providing services to middle-aged and older women in Kansas. The focus of the workshops will be putting prevention into practice. The workshops will be in Lawrence on April 27, and Wichita on April 28.

Experts in the field will provide practical information and skill building activities for nurses, dietitians, nursing home administrators, fitness instructors activity aides and other service providers to positively influence the health of women they serve.

Kansas First Lady Linda Graves will open each workshop with a greeting at 8:30 am. The conference runs through 4:30 each day.
