License Renewals Needed from Lodging and Food Establishments

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) 1998 Food Service license renewal notices and Lodging license renewal notices will be mailed to currently licensed operators November 18-24, 1997. Food service establishment licenses may be renewed for $70.00.

Operators who fail to pay license renewal fees before January 1, 1998, must pay a $10 penalty in addition to the regular renewal fee. If the renewal fee and license application are not received by January 31, 1998, operators must re-apply for a license and pay the additional application fee of $90.00. After fee's have been paid, licenses will be mailed in February 1998.

Restaurant and lodging facility operators who do not receive an application by December 1, should contact the Kansas Department of Health and Environment at 785-296-5600 or 785-296-5603.
