Child Care Provider Suspended

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has issued an order suspending the child care provider certification of Amy K. Walters, 1199 E. Santa Fe, Lot 199, Gardner.

State law allows the Secretary of KDHE to suspend a child care provider certification when, in the opinion of the Secretary, the suspension is necessary to protect any child in the home from physical or mental abuse, abandonment, or any other threat to health and safety.

The order is subject to appeal to the Secretary of Health and Environment.
